For about 2 months, I’ve been using a new webservice on the internet called “YouVersion.com“. Created by the same tech team that does lifechurch.tv, youversion is an Online Bible integrated with the “social” features of web2.0
Currently I use youversion.com to do my daily devotionals but in the coming months I’m going to be posting a link to my messages with the relevant verses via their content.
Give youversion a try – it’s really cool. (oh, btw my username on youversion is “nerrad“)
Well, I’ve completed a MAJOR part of the overhaul of UnashamedSermons.com – for the average user visiting this site however there’s not much new visible (except for maybe a few items that appear missing). I’ve still got a few tweaks to do here and there to bring things back to the way they were but the major bits of Userm are online and working for now.
I’m looking for some suggestions for things that are missing that the readers/users of UnashamedSermons.com would like to see. If you’ve got something – leave a comment to this post

Today I’m conducting a pretty major update of the software that runs UnashamedSermons.com. I’m going to try to limit the downtime as much as possible – however there is bound to be some downtime as I tweak things. My apologies in advance for any interruptions to the users of UnashamedSermons.com but this is some much needed maintenance!
 UPDATE: Everything should work just fine now! The transfer took less time than I thought it would.
UnashamedSermons.com has been moved to a new web-host provider that will hopefully result in faster page loads and less downtime. Unfortunately it’s taking quite a while to move all the .mp3’s from the old host (over 1.5gb of data). All the content can still be accessed but I apologize for the errors when trying to listen to sermons. By the beginning of next week I should have all the files transferred and things should work once again!
Source: WikipediaApparently my webhost is opening a brand new datacenter and is moving UnashamedSermons.com onto the new servers there. I’ve been told that the move will begin at midnight on Friday, March 28th (i.e. early Saturday morning) and so everything will go black for up to 48 hours.
So if you get this before things happen you’ll know not to panic when you can’t access UnashamedSermons.com (not that anybody would panic anyway…)
