Rahab: The Prostitute with Faith

True Peace

Peace is hoped for in so many different contexts that when you try to nail down a simple definition for it you find yourself at a loss of words. Try it! Invariably when you attempt to define peace you start using it as an adjective to describe what peace does. “Well, you know, peace is? peace is when you have peace of mind” Or when you are at peace with somebody”. How would you describe it? (If appropriate actually ask the congregation this and invite answers?) Whatever the way we describe peace I?ve come to the conclusion that true peace is something I want.
